VIBE VIDEO PHONE 2.0 POWERS NEW LOGITECH CONSUMER VIDEO SERVICE

Leading Webcam Manufacturer Bundles Vibe Solutions Group-Powered Video Service at Retail and Online

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - November 18, 2004 - Vibe Solutions Group, the leader in broadband consumer video communications, announced that Logitech has launched Logitech VideoCall, a custom-branded video calling application based on the Vibe Phone 2.0 Platform.

Logitech VideoCall is based on the new Vibe Phone 2.0 Platform that includes features like click-and-call simplicity, picture icon (picon) contact lists, drag-and-drop picture sharing, IM-like presence detection, Vibe Solutions Group’s proprietary video codec and A/V synchronization, as well as titles and transitions that can be overlaid onto the video. The latest Vibe Phone 2.0 version also includes improved call-to-call connectivity through a new UDP (User Datagram Protocol) implementation.

Logitech recently announced the commercial availability of Logitech VideoCall in 19 countries and 14 languages. The scalable Vibe Solutions Group server infrastructure is being utilized by Logitech to connect their customers worldwide.

Logitech VideoCall is powered by the Vibe Video Communications Platform, which offers partners an entire suite of video services that can be customized and branded to their customers, including video calling and video mail.
